“ Pupuseria Emanuel Two different day review 3/7/22 Tuesday Special Pupusas for $1.25 I'll make sure next time I come back on a Tuesday You have to order at the counter, but they bring the food to you. The time frame to get your food is about twenty minutes, but it's definitely worth your time. They have Spanish Christian music playing in the background. I heard songs here I've never heard of but was delighted to hear. In the front of the store, they sell some cool swag if you're from El Salvador. They sell embroidered aprons, shirts, Jersey shirts, embroidered bags, and so much more. They also sell medicine from El Salvador. I tried the pupusas fajita, bean and cheese, and chicken and cheese. They were all delicious. My son had the Pollo a la plancha plate (Grilled Chicken plate). It had beans, rice, salad, and grilled chicken. It's was so fulfilling, healthy, and delicious. The tortillas were homemade and fluffy. Yumm yumm, in the tummy! 3/8/22 I highly recommend trying them out, but BEWARE, I came back on a Tuesday, and the following was my observation; Tuesday Special $1.25 Pupusas Only on: Chicharrón con queso (pork & cheese) Calabaza con queso (squash & cheese) Pollo con queso (chicken & cheese) Frijol con queso (beans & cheese) Everything else has another price The food is excellent. I am taking away a star because they do not have a list of the four options on Pupusas that are on Special on Tuesday. I was under the impression that all Pupusas were $1.25 on Tuesday, but that's not the case, and my wallet paid the price. They had arroz con leche (dessert) nicely displayed by the cash register/counter. They were $2.00 each. I bought two, and it was delicious. OVERALL- good food must try! ”
“ This place has recently moved to a new upgraded building further down telephone road. The new restaurant fits the quality of the food! I have ate here for years and always leave satisfied! The best pupusas in Houston. I hope the business continues on for many many years to come. ”
